Add XP to Your Home Screen

XP Network is a progressive web app (PWA), which means you can install it directly on your phone’s home screen without going through an app store. Once installed, it behaves like a native app and, importantly, it is how you receive notifications on your home screen from XP Network, including event reminders and achievement alerts.

Adding XP Network to your home screen on iPhone or iPad requires Safari. Third-party browsers on iOS do not support PWA installation.

  1. Open xpnetwork.com in Safari.

  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (the box with an arrow pointing upward).

  3. Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.

  4. Edit the name if you like, then tap Add in the top-right corner.

The XP Network icon will appear on your home screen. Tap it to launch the app in a full-screen experience. You will be prompted to allow notifications the first time you open it from the home screen.

On Android, Chrome handles PWA installation automatically and may even surface a prompt for you.

  1. Open xpnetwork.com in Chrome.

  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

  3. Tap Add to Home screen.

  4. Confirm the name and tap Add. If prompted, tap Add again on the confirmation dialog.

The XP Network icon will appear on your home screen and in your app drawer. Tap it to launch the full-screen experience. Chrome will ask for notification permission on first launch.

Installing XP Network on your home screen is required to receive push notifications on mobile. Once installed and permission is granted, you will receive notifications for:

  • Event reminders and check-in alerts
  • Achievements awarded to your account
  • Updates from organizations you follow

You can manage which notifications you receive at any time from your profile settings.
